1Affirmative Tú Commands

Affirmative tú commands use the él/ella present tense form. Eight common verbs have irregular forms: ven, ten, pon, sal, di, haz, ve, sé. Pronouns attach to the end of affirmative commands.

2Negative Commands

Negative commands use the present subjunctive for all persons. Tú negative uses -es (ar) or -as (er/ir). Pronouns go before the verb in negative commands, not attached.

3Usted and Ustedes Commands

Formal commands (usted/ustedes) use present subjunctive for both affirmative and negative. -ar verbs take -e/-en, -er/-ir verbs take -a/-an. Same form for affirmative and negative.

4Vosotros Commands

Vosotros affirmative commands replace final -r of infinitive with -d. For reflexives, drop the -d before -os. Negative uses subjunctive -éis/-áis. Vosotros is used mainly in Spain.
